10 Aug | Progress in sustainability needs a common language on an international level

As a founding member of the German Partnership of Sustainable Textiles, the Cotton Exchange has been emphasizing the need to speak one language internationally. The Partnership of Sustainable Textiles was founded with the aim of making the textile supply chain more sustainable – starting from the raw material to the finished piece of clothing. Enterprises should increasingly consider environmental, social and economic aspects of sustainability in their international procurement processes. It is essential to bring about changes not only at national level, but above all at European and international level, and to speak a common language.
