Our newsletter, the Bremen Cotton Report, is published fortnightly. The Report provides information on the national and international cotton market and provides an insight into current events, statistics and market analyses.
Our Annual Report provides our members with an account of the activities of the Bremen Cotton Exchange in the fiscal year. In addition there are extensive reports on the global cotton situation – including statistics – as well as the situation in the most important cotton producing and consuming countries.
The Cotton Exchange has various committees which deal with the specialist fields of the cotton trade. As a result, commissions are available to answer questions on cotton classing, prices, transportation and insurance and to review and update the international trading regulations.
We offer regular one-week seminars in which comprehensive information about the raw material cotton and knowledge of the business with this fibre are taught. In collaboration with the laboratory of the Fibre Institute Bremen e.V. (FIBRE) and professionals from the banking and insurance sector, we inform about cotton classing and testing, arbitration and quality arbitrage, financing, insurance and futures trading.
The International Cotton Conference Bremen has become the world’s leading conference in the field of cotton testing. Every two years, in cooperation with FIBRE, we organise this Conference which provides a forum for dialogue for participants from around the world.
