15 Jun | Successful know-how transfer for AMD students – this time online

Once again, the Bremen Cotton Exchange informed students of the Akademie Mode & Design (AMD, Academy for Fashion and Design) Düsseldorf about cotton, its market, production, quality and sustainability during the lectures for textile technology. Already in April, Rainer Schlatmann gave a lecture for first-semester students of the course ‚Design and Fashion Management‘. In May Elke Hortmeyer, Communication and International Relations, gave a lecture in English to fourth-semester students in the ‘Fashion Journalism and Communication’ programme. Due to the situation, both events took place as online webinars and got a very good response. The Cotton Exchange thus pursues the goal of informing prospective fashion professionals objectively and offering itself as a contact for knowledge deepening.
